One national rate card
Chicago car service rates by vehicle and ride type
Chicago uses Artisan's approved national sedan and SUV rate card. Starting fares are class minimums, not flat airport, hotel or venue fares. Review your actual itinerary, options and required trip price before acceptance.
| Vehicle class | Starting from |
|---|---|
| Executive Sedan | $135 |
| Executive SUV — Suburban | $155 |
| Luxury SUV — Escalade | $185 |
| Luxury Sedan — S-Class/7 Series | $235 |
- Starting fares are the minimum for each vehicle class, not a fixed airport or destination fare. Your complete trip price depends on the exact addresses, itinerary and selected options.
- Enter your exact addresses and review the complete required trip price before acceptance. Required trip costs are included; optional gratuity is separate. Accepted changes and excess waiting can cost extra.
| Vehicle class | Per hour | 3 hours |
|---|---|---|
| Executive Sedan | $120 | $360 |
| Executive SUV — Suburban | $144 | $432 |
| Luxury SUV — Escalade | $165 | $495 |
| Luxury Sedan — S-Class/7 Series | $200 | $600 |
- 3-hour minimum for hourly service. Driving and planned waiting use the booked window; normal local stops are included in an approved local itinerary. Optional gratuity is separate.
Sedan and SUV requests are reviewed for Artisan approval. Sprinters, passenger vans, Mini Coaches and Motorcoaches receive a written quote in the same booking form.

Ride types
One transfer or time with your chauffeur
Start with what you need the vehicle to do. A private transfer takes your party between agreed addresses. Reserved hourly service keeps the chauffeur and vehicle available during your agreed itinerary. For a return journey, enter both legs with their own dates and pickup details.
The same booking form handles sedan and SUV travel and requests for chauffeured group vehicles. Tell us about stops, passenger groups and luggage before reviewing the arrangement.
| Your plans | Arrangement | Details to prepare |
|---|---|---|
| Airport, hotel, office or home transfer | Point to point | Both addresses, local pickup date and time, flight when applicable and all luggage. |
| Meetings, shopping or several local stops | Reserved hourly service | Stop order, time at each appointment and the final release time. |
| A later return | Round trip with two planned legs | The return pickup, local date, party size and any different airport or entrance. |
| A group arrival or several vehicles | An itinerary-specific group offer | Separate arrival waves, cabin needs, passenger and bag counts, and a coordinator. |
Vehicles
Choose for the travelers and everything they bring
Planning sources: Artisan Limo: child-seat requests and SUV requirement · Artisan Limo: vehicle classes and booking capacities
Choose the class for both the people and their luggage. Executive SUV means Suburban; Luxury SUV means Escalade. The booking form shows the available class choices and accepted trip price. Class limits are a starting point: oversized luggage, strollers and boarding needs still require a fit check.
For a chauffeured Sprinter, Mercedes passenger van or larger group vehicle, request a written offer in the same form. Child-seat requests require an SUV under Artisan's published policy; give each child's age, weight and height and confirm the arrangement. Describe mobility equipment and any help needed at the vehicle before accepting a cabin.
| Vehicle | Advertised class capacity | Best decision to make first |
|---|---|---|
| Executive or Luxury Sedan | Up to 2 passengers and 3 bags | Does the party and actual luggage fit without a child-seat request? |
| Executive SUV — Suburban | Up to 6 passengers and 6 bags | Count every passenger, child restraint, stroller and bulky item. |
| Luxury SUV — Escalade | Up to 6 passengers and 6 bags | Choose the luxury SUV class and confirm any special fit requirement. |
| Chauffeured Sprinter or Mercedes van | Depends on the confirmed cabin | Balance seating layout with bag sizes, boarding needs and the itinerary. |
Pickup planning
Give the chauffeur the complete meeting plan
Planning sources: O'Hare: limousine, taxi and rideshare pickup instructions · Midway: separate ground transportation pickup arrangements
For an airport arrival, keep a reachable passenger number in the request and follow the confirmed meeting instructions after luggage collection and any international entry formalities. Select the airport on the flight itinerary, and send any flight or airport change to the concierge for review.
At a hotel, office or event, identify the street address, usable entrance and on-site contact. If you cannot locate the assigned vehicle, contact the chauffeur or concierge using your confirmation with your actual entrance or terminal and door. Check the supplied vehicle description and plate before boarding.
A prearranged chauffeur
Agree the vehicle class, itinerary, price and airport meeting before confirmation. Follow the accepted instructions for that vehicle.
An airport taxi or ride app
Use the airport's designated pickup arrangement for that service. A taxi rank or app zone is not automatically the meeting point for a prearranged chauffeur.
An airport connection
Name both airports, arriving and departing flights, luggage and the onward deadline. A ground transfer does not guarantee an airline connection.
City and suburbs
From a downtown stay to a full business itinerary
Give the full address for each destination, whether your plans are in the Loop, River North, the South Loop, Rosemont, Oak Brook or the North Shore. The address and entrance determine the route; a neighborhood name alone is not a pickup instruction.
For an airport arrival followed by an appointment, allow for collecting bags and meeting the chauffeur as well as the road journey. Traffic and venue access vary. Share the actual appointment or reporting deadline so the itinerary can be reviewed without promising a fixed travel time.
Hotel and leisure travel
Plan the arrival transfer, any luggage drop and a separate return. Reserve hours if you want the car to remain between agreed stops.
Offices and visiting executives
List the meeting sequence, passenger phone and arranger. Identify who can authorize a change while the traveler is in a meeting or in flight.
Conventions and celebrations
Name the campus building or venue entrance, each group and the time they should be ready for the return.
Booking
Review the price and itinerary before confirmation
Planning sources: Artisan Limo: reservation approval and payment terms
The actual route, vehicle, options or reserved hours determine your trip price. Review the complete price in the booking form rather than assuming a flat fare covers every Chicago airport or hotel. Required trip fees are included in the accepted price; gratuity is optional, and accepted changes or excess waiting can cost extra.
Artisan Limo coordinates transportation with independent operators. Sending a booking request does not itself confirm the trip. Confirmation follows approval and successful payment of the accepted total; revised offers require acceptance, and invoice or deposit arrangements follow their stated terms. A corporate-account inquiry separately starts a discussion about recurring travel and billing; it does not establish credit terms or reserve vehicles.

Chicago car service questions
For your exact route, vehicle and timing, review the trip details and terms before submitting.
Speak with the conciergeHow early should I book a Chicago car service?
Request the arrangement once your itinerary is known, especially for groups, particular cabins, child seats or event departures. If travel is soon, contact Artisan with the pickup time, addresses, passengers and luggage so eligibility and availability can be checked. An online request or price does not guarantee a vehicle; wait for confirmation before relying on the ride.
How do I book a private car service in Chicago?
Enter the full pickup and destination addresses, date, local time, passengers and bags in the booking form. Add the flight for an airport arrival and any planned stops or equipment requests. Review the vehicle, required price and itinerary. A submitted request is unconfirmed; confirmation follows approval and successful payment of the accepted total under its stated terms.
Planning sources: Artisan Limo: reservation approval and payment terms
What if I do not receive the confirmation or an expected booking change?
Contact Artisan with the existing request or booking reference and the itinerary you expected. A submitted request, an unanswered change message or a missing email is not proof that a ride or revised arrangement is confirmed. Check the accepted details and confirmation before travel instead of relying on an assumed update.
Planning sources: Artisan Limo: reservation approval and payment terms
Does Artisan arrange O'Hare and Midway airport transfers?
Yes. Choose the airport on your actual flight itinerary and use its dedicated page for pickup planning. O'Hare is ORD and Midway is MDW. A pickup at one does not cover an arrival at the other; report an airport or flight change so the arrangement can be reviewed.
Is a prearranged Chicago chauffeur pickup the same as a taxi or ride-app pickup?
No. A chauffeur reservation has an accepted vehicle, itinerary, price and meeting plan. O'Hare and Midway publish separate instructions for limousines, taxis, ride apps and private passenger pickups. Use the confirmed chauffeur instructions after you are ready to leave; do not assume that a taxi rank or app zone is the correct meeting point.
Planning sources: O'Hare: limousine, taxi and rideshare pickup instructions · Midway: separate ground transportation pickup arrangements
When should I choose hourly service instead of a direct transfer?
Choose point to point for an agreed direct journey. Choose hourly when the chauffeur and vehicle should stay available between several agreed local stops. Sedan and SUV hourly bookings have a three-hour minimum. Include the complete itinerary and finish time before acceptance.
Can someone book on behalf of a colleague or guest?
Yes. Distinguish the person arranging or paying for the ride from the passenger. Include a reachable traveler number and the flight or venue details. A recurring company-travel arrangement can be discussed through the separate corporate-account inquiry.
Are Chicago Sprinter vans available without a driver?
No. Artisan arranges chauffeured transportation, not self-drive van rentals. Request an Executive, Jet or Limo Sprinter, a Mercedes passenger van or a larger group vehicle through the main booking form. The written offer confirms the actual cabin, passenger and luggage fit, and itinerary.
Are gratuity and changes included in the trip price?
Required trip fees are included in the accepted price, while gratuity is optional. Changes to the accepted itinerary or excess waiting can cost extra under the booking terms. Review the terms and request any necessary change before relying on a revised arrangement.
