Chicago Convention and Event Transportation pricing
Use the sedan and SUV hourly totals as a reference for reserved time. Sprinters and other group vehicles receive a written offer for the actual program. Review the full schedule, vehicle configuration and accepted price before confirmation.
| Vehicle class | Per hour | 3 hours | 4 hours | Approved 30-minute extension |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Executive Sedan | $120 | $360 | $480 | $60 |
| Executive SUV — Suburban | $144 | $432 | $576 | $72 |
| Luxury SUV — Escalade | $165 | $495 | $660 | $82.50 |
| Luxury Sedan — S-Class/7 Series | $200 | $600 | $800 | $100 |
- 3-hour minimum. The online form accepts 3–12 whole hours; contact Artisan for a longer or multi-day program. Review the complete price and itinerary before accepting.
- For an approved local itinerary, the confirmed hourly price covers the chauffeur, vehicle, ordinary local stops and waiting within the reserved window, together with required trip costs. Gratuity is optional.
- Extra time requires dispatch and customer approval and is billed at the same class rate in 30-minute increments, rounded upward in time. A materially changed or non-local itinerary needs review before it is accepted. Group vehicles have their own written quote and terms.
Program shape
Separate arrivals, venue travel and the return
Planning sources: Artisan Limo: pickup and hourly waiting
A delegate's airport arrival, a hotel departure and an evening return are separate movements unless the accepted itinerary explicitly combines them. Identify which travelers arrive together, where they stay and which event session each group must reach. Give every departure its own time, passenger count and destination.
Choose transfers for defined journeys. Choose retained hourly service when a chauffeur and vehicle should remain available during an agreed window. A shuttle program with repeated departures needs its operating window, vehicle count and last departure reviewed; one booked transfer does not establish a continuous shuttle.
| Movement | Supply for review | Do not leave implicit |
|---|---|---|
| Airport to hotel | Actual flight group, bags and hotel entrance | Separate readiness for colleagues on different flights |
| Hotel to event | Departure wave, count and event building | Permitted loading for the selected vehicle |
| Event to hotel or dinner | Meeting location, release contact and final departures | Split destinations or another venue after the session |
| Event to airport | Flight deadline, bags and any hotel stop | The luggage collection and full return journey |
McCormick Place
Use the event building rather than a general campus pin
Planning sources: McCormick Place: building entrances and transportation gates
McCormick Place's event calendar identifies the campus building. North and South use the Martin Luther King Jr. Drive entrance, West uses Indiana Avenue, and Lakeside Center uses DuSable Lake Shore Drive. Confirm your organizer's entrance and permitted passenger loading for the actual vehicle.
Send the entrance name, event access instructions and onsite contact before travel. A published ride-app meeting gate is not a universal chauffeur meeting point. Venue maps, an exhibitor badge or an event listing do not establish Artisan's loading permission or an affiliation with the organizer.
Event building
Name the actual building and entrance shown in the delegate or organizer instructions.
Passenger loading
Have the organizer identify the permitted location for the selected passenger vehicle.
Onsite contact
Provide someone reachable who can resolve a changed entrance, access restriction or delayed group.
Hotel departures
Give each hotel group a departure and a return
List the hotel address and passenger entrance, not only the hotel brand. Group travelers by pickup location and agreed departure. Include enough detail for the concierge to review loading, boarding and the required arrival deadline without assuming that every delegate is ready at the same time.
Set the return meeting, departure window and final passenger count separately. Tell us about a reception, dinner or second venue between the conference and hotel. If a group splits after the event, name each destination and who travels where; a different finish can require another vehicle or revised arrangement.
Outbound manifest
Actual hotel entrance, local departure, passenger group and event arrival requirement.
Bags and boarding
Complete luggage, any equipment and each traveler's essential boarding needs.
Return release
Who confirms the group is ready, the agreed meeting and every final destination.
Last departure
The final agreed wave and any later reception, dinner or airport luggage stop.
Changes
Reachable onsite and arranging contacts, reservation references and authority to accept a revised schedule or price.
Airport connections
Keep flight groups and event groups distinct
Planning sources: Artisan Limo: accurate flight details and changed arrivals
Provide actual airports, flight numbers, local arrival dates, traveler phones and luggage. Colleagues on different flights may need different ground pickups even when they attend the same convention. A meeting deadline belongs in the plan, but it does not guarantee a flight, road or baggage-handling time.
For the airport return, work back from the airline's check-in requirements and submit the event finish, hotel luggage stop and final airport together. Private-flight groups need the actual FBO and flight-team contact. Notify revised flights and airports promptly; the ground plan must be reviewed rather than silently moved.
Delegates and bags
Review seats, luggage and boarding before the program
Planning sources: McCormick Place: accessibility and vehicle drop-off points
A sedan or SUV can suit an individual speaker or small party. For delegates traveling together, compare Executive, Jet and Limo Sprinters, a regular Mercedes passenger van or another quoted group vehicle. Share the count for each departure, suitcases, carry-ons and any equipment; a seat count alone does not establish storage capacity.
Declare display cases or large equipment separately instead of assuming a passenger cabin can carry exhibitor freight. Give any step, mobility-device or boarding-assistance requirements before accepting a vehicle. The venue's accessible entrances do not establish an accessible vehicle; the actual vehicle and equipment need separate confirmation.
Offer and changes
Accept a defined event program
Planning sources: Artisan Limo: reservation and payment terms · Artisan Limo: cancellation and accepted changes · Artisan Limo: pickup and hourly waiting
Use the main booking form for the journey and group requirements. Sprinters and other group vehicles receive a written offer for the actual program. Confirm the departures, vehicles, passenger and luggage fit, retained hours, loading arrangements and change contact before accepting it. Required normal trip fees are included in the accepted price; gratuity is optional, and changed movements or excess waiting can cost more.
A request does not reserve inventory or confirm the program. Confirmation follows the accepted offer and successful payment under its stated terms. Group programs and other large or event bookings require at least seven days' cancellation notice before the first pickup for a full refund; inside seven days any refund is discretionary and may be partial or zero. Different terms must be disclosed in the written offer and accepted before payment.

Chicago convention and event transportation questions
For your exact route, vehicle and timing, review the trip details and terms before submitting.
Speak with the conciergeWhat information is needed for an event transportation plan?
Provide event and building names, hotel and venue entrances, local dates and times, passengers for each departure, luggage or equipment, all return destinations and an onsite arranging contact. Include flights when the program begins or ends at an airport.
Does a transfer include continuous hotel shuttles?
No. A transfer is an agreed journey. Repeated shuttle departures need a reviewed schedule, operating window and vehicle arrangement. Retained hourly service and several separate transfers are different arrangements; specify what the program needs.
Planning sources: Artisan Limo: pickup and hourly waiting
Can the pickup use McCormick Place's rideshare gate?
Use the organizer's permitted passenger loading instructions for the selected vehicle. Ride-app instructions do not automatically apply to chauffeur or group vehicles. Confirm the actual event building and meeting location before travel.
Planning sources: McCormick Place: building entrances and transportation gates
Can delegates be picked up at different hotels?
Submit each actual hotel address and entrance with its passenger count, departure time and destination. Several hotel pickups can change the route, duration and number of vehicles; they must be part of the accepted program.
Can airport arrivals and the convention return be included?
Describe them as individual movements with flight details, traveler groups and all destinations. Different flights may require separate pickups. A return to an airport also needs the departure schedule, check-in requirement and any luggage stop.
Planning sources: Artisan Limo: accurate flight details and changed arrivals
Do the group seat ranges guarantee room for everyone's luggage?
No. The actual vehicle and seat configuration must fit the passengers and complete bag list. Large equipment or display cases require explicit review; they are not assumed to fit in a passenger vehicle.
Does venue accessibility guarantee a wheelchair-accessible vehicle?
No. Describe the mobility device, boarding needs and required equipment so the actual vehicle can be reviewed. An accessible venue entrance does not establish vehicle ramp, lift or securement availability.
Planning sources: McCormick Place: accessibility and vehicle drop-off points
Can we start planning before the final headcount is known?
Contact Artisan with a provisional count for each movement, likely bags, dates, local times and event building. Label which details remain open and send updates before accepting an offer. A discussion does not reserve vehicles, and a changed count or schedule can change the reviewed arrangement.
Can we arrange an event movement at short notice?
Contact Artisan with the actual pickup, local time, passenger and bag count, venue building and complete return requirement. The loading plan and vehicle availability need review; submitting a request does not confirm the movement.
What happens if the program is changed or cancelled?
Send the changed schedule and reservation references for review; availability and price may change. Group and event programs have a seven-day full-refund notice window before the first pickup. Inside it a refund is discretionary and can be partial or zero. Different terms must be disclosed and accepted before payment. If an expected accepted-change message is absent, contact Artisan with the existing reference; rely on the last confirmed itinerary.
