Chicago · Flight team to ground itinerary
Chicago Private Aviation Transportation
Plan the ground journey around the private flight's actual handler, passenger readiness and onward itinerary. Keep the flight department, person arranging transport and traveler connected when the airport, FBO or schedule changes.
Reserve your ride
Include the actual airport and FBO, local date and pickup time, aircraft reference when available, flight-team contact, reachable traveler and full destination. A general airport map pin does not identify a private-flight passenger entrance.

Chicago Private Aviation Transportation pricing
Chicago uses Artisan's approved national sedan and SUV rate card. Starting fares are class minimums, not flat airport, hotel or venue fares. Review your actual itinerary, options and required trip price before acceptance.
| Vehicle class | Starting from |
|---|---|
| Executive Sedan | $135 |
| Executive SUV — Suburban | $155 |
| Luxury SUV — Escalade | $185 |
| Luxury Sedan — S-Class/7 Series | $235 |
- Starting fares are the minimum for each vehicle class, not a fixed airport or destination fare. Your complete trip price depends on the exact addresses, itinerary and selected options.
- Enter your exact addresses and review the complete required trip price before acceptance. Required trip costs are included; optional gratuity is separate. Accepted changes and excess waiting can cost extra.
- Submit the named FBO and complete ground itinerary for Artisan approval. Include exceptional facility access, venue or multi-day requirements so the agreed arrangement and complete price cover your trip.
Sedan and SUV requests are reviewed for Artisan approval. Sprinters, passenger vans, Mini Coaches and Motorcoaches receive a written quote in the same booking form.
Airport and FBO
Use the facility assigned by your flight team
Planning sources: Chicago Executive Airport: passenger facilities and FBO selection · DuPage Flight Center: West Chicago facility and concierge · Signature Aviation: private aviation at O'Hare · Atlantic Aviation: Midway FBO facility
The flight operator or handling team identifies the actual airport and FBO. Confirm that facility's passenger address and entrance before setting the ground pickup. Private flights at ORD or MDW do not use the airline-terminal meeting plan simply because they share an airport code.
Chicago Executive's public passenger guidance says to ask the organization that coordinated the flight for the correct FBO; the Plant Road administration address is not a passenger pickup point. DuPage Flight Center is in West Chicago. Signature operates a private-aviation facility at O'Hare, and Atlantic operates the Midway FBO at 6150 South Laramie Avenue. These published facilities do not prove an assigned operator has ramp access or establish a universal meeting door.
| Flight facility | Ground-planning distinction | Confirm with the flight team |
|---|---|---|
| Chicago Executive · PWK | Separate named FBO facilities | Actual handler and passenger entrance |
| DuPage · DPA | DuPage Flight Center in West Chicago | Handling facility, readiness and onward address |
| O'Hare · ORD private aviation | Signature facility, distinct from airline terminals | Actual handling location and permitted passenger meeting |
| Midway · MDW private aviation | Atlantic FBO, distinct from airline arrivals | Facility address and passenger-release instructions |
People and flight
Connect the flight team, arranger and traveler
Planning sources: Artisan Limo: changed flights and airports · Artisan Limo: requests, approval and payment · FAA: aircraft data filtering and public flight tracking
Supply the local arrival date and expected time, aircraft tail or trip reference when available, named handler and full onward address. The aircraft contact may not be the passenger or the person authorized to accept a changed ground arrangement. Keep those roles explicit, with a reachable travel-day phone.
Identify who travels together and whether crew, colleagues or family need a separate journey. Include bags, presentation equipment, mobility equipment and child-seat requirements. A flight reference can help coordinate the trip, but it does not guarantee public tracking of the aircraft or replace updates from the flight team.
| Contact or detail | What to provide | Ground-planning purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Flight team or handler | FBO, aircraft reference and current local ETA | Confirm the actual facility and flight changes |
| Arranger | Booking reference and authorized approval contact | Accept any materially revised ground plan |
| Traveler | Name, reachable phone and passenger-ready update | Connect the traveler to the confirmed meeting |
| Party and onward journey | People, bags, destination and separate crew travel | Review vehicle fit and all required movements |
Passenger handoff
Aircraft arrival and passenger-ready time are different
Planning sources: Artisan Limo: waiting and reserved hourly time · Artisan Limo: changed flights and airports · Artisan Limo: requests, approval and payment
Landing, taxiing, baggage release and any arrival formalities can occur before the passenger is ready at the facility entrance. Coordinate the ground handoff with the actual handler, using the landside meeting confirmed for the reservation. Reserving a chauffeur does not provide immigration clearance or authorize a car beside the aircraft.
Tell Artisan promptly if passenger release is delayed, and keep a travel-day contact reachable. Airport waiting is measured from the recorded arrival under the applicable policy; baggage or clearance time uses that window rather than pausing it. Exact allowances and any excess-wait cost are identified in the written terms for the actual trip.
An FBO's opening hours do not guarantee vehicle availability. If an early, late or short-notice ground movement is essential, provide its time and ask for explicit acceptance before relying on the vehicle.
Before arrival
Confirm the current airport, FBO, local ETA, traveler phone and agreed passenger meeting.
At passenger release
Keep the handler and ground contact informed about baggage, clearance and when the party is ready.
Before leaving the facility
Check the complete party and luggage, onward destination and accepted itinerary.
Airport changes
A diversion or new FBO needs a revised ground plan
Planning sources: Artisan Limo: changed flights and airports · Artisan Limo: program cancellation and accepted changes · Artisan Limo: requests, approval and payment
Send the new airport, FBO, passenger entrance, local ETA and aircraft reference as soon as the flight team has confirmed them. A move from PWK to DPA changes the facility and road journey; updating the tail number alone does not identify the new pickup. Include any revised destination or required meeting arrival.
Operator and vehicle availability must be reviewed for the new plan. Material changes to service or price require acceptance of a revised offer. Do not assume automatic repositioning, an unchanged fare or unrestricted waiting. If an expected confirmation or accepted-change message is missing, contact Artisan with the existing request reference; silence is not acceptance.
Onward and return
Connect the FBO arrival to the rest of the itinerary
Planning sources: Artisan Limo: waiting and reserved hourly time · Artisan Limo: requests, approval and payment
Choose a direct transfer for one agreed hotel, office or home destination. Reserve hourly service if the vehicle should remain between appointments, and provide every entrance, stop, expected wait and final dropoff. For a timed business program, identify the required meeting arrivals and who can approve changes while the traveler is in flight.
A later departure needs its own ground pickup date, address, aircraft handling facility and flight-team reporting time. Include luggage collection and any separate crew or family movements. Several flights or days require a reviewed program, rather than assuming one incoming transfer covers the return or every person.
Vehicle and acceptance
Confirm the actual party, cabin and reservation terms
Planning sources: Artisan Limo: vehicle classes and capacity · Artisan Limo: child-seat requirements · Artisan Limo: requests, approval and payment · Artisan Limo: program cancellation and accepted changes
Executive and Luxury Sedans accommodate up to 2 passengers and 3 bags; Executive and Luxury SUVs accommodate up to 6 passengers and 6 bags. Count crew traveling with the party, children and oversized items. Confirm the actual luggage shape, seating and boarding needs before accepting the vehicle. Sprinters, coaches and other group classes receive a reviewed offer through the main booking form.
Artisan-provided child seats require an SUV. Request up to two subject to availability, with each child's age, weight, height and configuration. If bringing your own restraint, select that arrangement and allow installation time; the guardian checks final securement. Describe mobility equipment and required assistance so suitability can be reviewed.
Required normal trip fees are included in the accepted price and gratuity is optional. Changes, excess waiting and requested extras follow the accepted terms. An eligible request saves the card without charging it; confirmation follows approval and successful payment of the accepted total. Direct checkout, invoice and deposit arrangements follow their accepted payment terms. Standard confirmed trips have a 48-hour full-refund cancellation notice window; group, multi-day roadshow and other large or event programs use seven days before the first pickup. Inside the applicable window a refund is discretionary, with any written exceptions disclosed and accepted before payment.

Chicago private-flight ground planning questions
For your exact route, vehicle and timing, review the trip details and terms before submitting.
Speak with the conciergeWhich Chicago airports have private-aviation facilities?
Chicago Executive has several named FBO facilities; DuPage Flight Center serves DPA in West Chicago. Signature operates at ORD and Atlantic operates the Midway FBO. Your flight operator determines the actual airport and handler. Confirm that facility's passenger entrance rather than using an airline-terminal plan.
Planning sources: Chicago Executive Airport: passenger facilities and FBO selection · DuPage Flight Center: West Chicago facility and concierge · Signature Aviation: private aviation at O'Hare · Atlantic Aviation: Midway FBO facility
What should a flight department send for the ground itinerary?
Send the actual airport and FBO, local date and ETA, aircraft reference when available, flight-team and arranger contacts, reachable travelers, passengers, complete luggage and onward address. Include separate crew movements and any return date or airport change. Confirm the passenger entrance with the handler.
Planning sources: Chicago Executive Airport: passenger facilities and FBO selection · DuPage Flight Center: West Chicago facility and concierge
Is the chauffeur pickup at the airline terminal or the FBO?
Use the facility assigned by the flight team. A private arrival at ORD or MDW may use a separate FBO; an airline passenger uses the commercial terminal's confirmed pickup instructions. The airport code alone does not establish the meeting entrance.
Planning sources: Chicago Executive Airport: passenger facilities and FBO selection · Signature Aviation: private aviation at O'Hare · Atlantic Aviation: Midway FBO facility
Does a private-flight booking include aircraft-side pickup?
No ramp meeting is promised by the ground reservation. Plan the confirmed landside passenger handoff. Any airside arrangement requires separate authorization from the airport, handler and assigned operator; published FBO services do not establish that permission.
Planning sources: Artisan Limo: requests, approval and payment
Can I provide a tail number instead of an airline flight number?
Provide the tail or aircraft-trip reference when available, together with the airport, FBO, local ETA and flight-team contact. Do not rely on the reference alone: public aircraft tracking may be limited, and handler updates are still needed to coordinate passenger readiness.
Planning sources: FAA: aircraft data filtering and public flight tracking
What if the flight changes airports or passengers are not ready?
Contact Artisan promptly with the reference, new airport and FBO, ETA or passenger-release delay, and any changed destination. The vehicle window and terms need review. Baggage and clearance use the airport wait allowance; excess waiting may cost extra. Material changes require acceptance, rather than an assumed automatic transfer.
Planning sources: Artisan Limo: changed flights and airports · Artisan Limo: waiting and reserved hourly time · Artisan Limo: program cancellation and accepted changes
Can I arrange an onward meeting program and a later return?
Include every ground movement. Reserve hourly if the vehicle should remain between appointments, and give the return date, pickup address, final FBO and flight-team reporting time. Separate crew groups, additional vehicles and several days require explicit review; an incoming transfer does not reserve them.
Planning sources: Artisan Limo: waiting and reserved hourly time · Artisan Limo: requests, approval and payment
Are late-night or short-notice private-flight transfers guaranteed?
Provide the local time, actual FBO, flight-team contact, passengers, bags and destination for review. FBO operating hours do not establish chauffeur availability. Rely on the accepted confirmation; if an expected message is missing, contact Artisan with the request reference.
