O'Hare Car Service pricing
Chicago uses Artisan's approved national sedan and SUV rate card. Starting fares are class minimums, not flat airport, hotel or venue fares. Review your actual itinerary, options and required trip price before acceptance.
| Vehicle class | Starting from |
|---|---|
| Executive Sedan | $135 |
| Executive SUV — Suburban | $155 |
| Luxury SUV — Escalade | $185 |
| Luxury Sedan — S-Class/7 Series | $235 |
Optional meet & greet is $25 for an eligible airport arrival when selected in the booking form. Confirm the terminal or FBO meeting arrangement before acceptance.
- Starting fares are the minimum for each vehicle class, not a fixed airport or destination fare. Your complete trip price depends on the exact addresses, itinerary and selected options.
- Enter your exact addresses and review the complete required trip price before acceptance. Required trip costs are included; optional gratuity is separate. Accepted changes and excess waiting can cost extra.
Sedan and SUV requests are reviewed for Artisan approval. Sprinters, passenger vans, Mini Coaches and Motorcoaches receive a written quote in the same booking form.
Meeting your chauffeur
Prearranged car service pickup at O'Hare
Planning sources: O'Hare: limousine, taxi and rideshare pickup guidance
Collect your luggage, then contact the assigned chauffeur or concierge using your confirmation. Share your actual terminal and door, and have the whole party ready. O'Hare's limousine guidance identifies designated pickup areas on the lower-level center lane, lane 2. Follow your confirmed terminal-specific instructions and current airport directions.
Check the supplied vehicle description and plate before boarding. If you cannot find the car, tell the contact in your confirmation exactly where you are; do not move to a taxi rank or ride-app zone to look for it. If baggage or clearance is holding you up, report that before coordinating the vehicle's approach.
| Journey | Meeting arrangement | Your next step |
|---|---|---|
| Curbside arrival | Confirmed terminal and door; designated lower-level livery area | Collect bags, report your location and readiness, then identify the assigned vehicle. |
| Requested inside greeting | An agreed baggage-claim or terminal meeting, followed by the vehicle | Request it before travel; confirm location, walking distance and assistance needs. |
| Hotel, home or office to ORD | The full street address and usable pickup entrance | Book the car's pickup time, leaving room for the drive and airline reporting deadline. |
The complete address
O'Hare to downtown Chicago, Rosemont or the suburbs
Give the actual hotel, office or residential address and its intended entrance. A Loop meeting, a River North stay and a Rosemont convention hotel are different destinations; ‘downtown’ alone does not identify the finish. Add a hotel luggage drop, separate passenger address or intermediate stop before accepting the itinerary.
For meetings in Oak Brook, the North Shore or several Chicago locations, decide whether you need a single transfer or a vehicle that stays with you. An airport-to-hotel ride does not reserve a chauffeur for later appointments. Hourly service can cover the agreed sequence of stops and waiting; corporate travel planning can keep the booker's details separate from the passenger's arrival contact.
From landing to meeting
International arrivals, baggage and the waiting clock
Planning sources: O'Hare: international arrivals and preclearance exceptions · Artisan Limo: waiting allowances and their start times · Artisan Limo: flight tracking, rebooking and diversions
Use the local date the flight lands at O'Hare, particularly after an overnight international journey. Supply the airline, flight number and actual arrival terminal. Many international arrivals use Terminal 5 for arrival processing, but precleared flights can use other terminals or domestic baggage processing. The flight's current terminal matters more than an assumption based only on its country of origin.
Standard airport waiting is 60 minutes for a domestic arrival and up to 90 minutes for an international arrival, measured from actual wheels-down. Taxiing, deplaning, baggage and customs use that window. Your written trip terms confirm the exact allowance. Contact the concierge promptly if you are still waiting for baggage or clearance near its end, or if rebooking changes the flight, date or airport; early-arrival adjustments depend on availability.
Space for the full party
Choose an O'Hare sedan, SUV or group vehicle
Planning sources: Artisan Limo: child-seat requests and guardian responsibilities · Artisan Limo: advertised vehicle classes and booking capacities
Executive and Luxury Sedans accommodate up to 2 passengers and 3 bags; Executive and Luxury SUVs accommodate up to 6 passengers and 6 bags. Include children, checked bags, carry-ons, strollers and oversized equipment. Actual luggage shape and boarding requirements still need to fit the vehicle. Sprinters, coaches and other group classes receive an itinerary-specific quote through the same booking form.
Artisan-provided child seats require an SUV. Request up to two seats in advance, subject to availability, and give each child's age, weight, height and seat configuration. Select the own-seat option if bringing a restraint, and allow installation time; the guardian checks final fit and securement. Explain mobility equipment and ground-vehicle boarding needs before reserving, even if airline assistance is already arranged.
The next deadline
O'Hare to Midway or a McCormick Place event
Planning sources: Chicago Department of Aviation: travel between Midway and O'Hare · McCormick Place: buildings, transport and event arrival planning
O'Hare and Midway are separate airports, not neighboring terminals. For a connection, provide both flights, the destination airline's check-in and bag-drop deadline, all checked luggage and any arrival formalities. Scheduled landing is not the time your party is ready to leave. Leave room for the airport handoff, road conditions and departure security; an inter-airport transfer cannot guarantee a tight connection.
For McCormick Place, name the event, campus building and organizer's approved drop-off location. North, South, West and Lakeside arrivals use different approaches, and ride-app guidance is not a universal chauffeur or private-charter gate. Group arrival waves need separate flight details, an event contact and an agreed return release point.
The car's arrival time
Hotel or home pickup for your flight from O'Hare
Planning sources: Artisan Limo: waiting allowances and their start times
For an O'Hare departure, enter the time the chauffeur should reach your hotel, home or office rather than the aircraft's takeoff time. Work back from the airline's required check-in and bag-drop times, with room for the road journey and terminal access. Include the airline, departure terminal when known and every intermediate pickup.
A scheduled point-to-point city pickup uses the standard 15-minute allowance from its booked time. Airport-arrival waiting follows the flight-based terms instead. For round trips, check both local dates, addresses, passenger counts and luggage; the return flight and a different terminal may require a new meeting plan. Hourly waiting uses the reserved hours.
Before travel
Your O'Hare price, approval and cancellation terms
Planning sources: Artisan Limo: confirmation, changes and cancellation
The accepted price includes required normal trip fees for the agreed itinerary and vehicle. Gratuity is optional. Added stops, changed details and waiting beyond the allowance can change the total; review the accepted price and written terms for the actual journey.
An eligible reservation request saves the card without charging and does not confirm the ride. Confirmation follows Artisan's approval of the exact accepted request and successful payment of its total. A revised offer needs your acceptance; direct-checkout, invoice and deposit offers follow their stated terms.
There is no cancellation fee before confirmation. Standard confirmed trips qualify for a full refund with at least 48 hours' notice before pickup; inside that window a refund is discretionary and may be partial or zero. Group, event and other large programs require seven days before the first pickup unless different terms were disclosed and accepted in writing before payment.

O'Hare car service questions
For your exact route, vehicle and timing, review the trip details and terms before submitting.
Speak with the conciergeHow long can the vehicle take to reach the O'Hare pickup lane?
O'Hare publishes a general 5–20-minute approach range after coordination, depending on airport traffic. That is airport guidance, not an Artisan arrival-time guarantee. Have the party and luggage ready, follow the confirmed meeting instructions and contact the chauffeur or concierge if you cannot locate the vehicle.
Planning sources: O'Hare: limousine, taxi and rideshare pickup guidance
How far in advance should I request an O'Hare transfer?
Request it when the itinerary is known, and allow time to confirm the vehicle, flight and any inside greeting, child seat or group arrangement. For short-notice travel, contact Artisan with the pickup time and full trip details so availability and eligibility can be checked. Do not rely on an unconfirmed request.
Where do I meet my O'Hare chauffeur?
Use the confirmed terminal, door and vehicle instructions. O'Hare's general limousine guidance identifies the lower-level center lane, lane 2, and asks passengers to contact the company after collecting baggage. Current terminal-specific directions and your booked arrangement govern; taxi and ride-app instructions are different.
Planning sources: O'Hare: limousine, taxi and rideshare pickup guidance
Do all international flights arrive at Terminal 5?
No. Many international flights use Terminal 5, but flights from preclearance airports can use other terminals or domestic baggage processing. Provide the flight number and actual arrival terminal rather than assuming one meeting point for every international journey.
Planning sources: O'Hare: international arrivals and preclearance exceptions
Can I request a greeting inside O'Hare?
Request it before travel and confirm the actual greeting location and arrangement. An inside meeting is not automatically included with every curbside transfer, and the vehicle still follows the applicable airport loading instructions.
Does airport waiting start when I collect my bags?
No. The standard baseline starts at actual wheels-down: 60 minutes domestic or up to 90 minutes international. Taxiing, deplaning, baggage and clearance consume the window. Your written trip terms set the exact allowance and excess-wait conditions.
Planning sources: Artisan Limo: waiting allowances and their start times
Can I book a transfer between O'Hare and Midway?
Include both flights, checked luggage and the onward airline's check-in deadline. The airports are separate facilities; allow for arrival formalities, the road journey and departure security. Scheduled landing is not curbside readiness, and a tight flight connection is not guaranteed.
Planning sources: Chicago Department of Aviation: travel between Midway and O'Hare
Which vehicle fits a family arriving at ORD?
Sedans accommodate up to 2 passengers and 3 bags; SUVs up to 6 and 6, subject to actual bulky-item fit. Artisan-provided child seats require an SUV, with up to two requested subject to availability. Supply child ages, weights, heights and configurations, plus strollers and every bag.
Planning sources: Artisan Limo: child-seat requests and guardian responsibilities · Artisan Limo: advertised vehicle classes and booking capacities
What if my flight or arrival airport changes?
Contact the concierge promptly with the replacement flight, local arrival date and new airport. A diversion, rebooking or changed route needs review and may change the arrangement or price. Early-arrival adjustments depend on availability.
Planning sources: Artisan Limo: flight tracking, rebooking and diversions
Does submitting an ORD booking request confirm the ride?
No. An eligible card-saving request remains unconfirmed until the accepted request is approved and its total is successfully paid. Any revised offer needs acceptance. No cancellation fee applies before confirmation; direct-checkout and invoice offers follow their written terms.
Planning sources: Artisan Limo: confirmation, changes and cancellation
Can I change or cancel a confirmed O'Hare transfer?
Changes depend on availability and may need a revised price or rebooking. A standard confirmed trip has a full refund with at least 48 hours' cancellation notice; inside that window a refund is discretionary. Group and event programs use seven days unless different terms were accepted in writing before payment.
