Domestic arrivals in a sedan or SUV include 60 minutes of waiting and international arrivals 90 minutes, counted from wheels-down. The airport's flat taxi fares cover Downtown, Midtown and Buckhead only. To the north suburbs, taxis run on the meter: $3.50 for the first 1/8 mile and $0.30 for each additional 1/8 mile, plus a $1.50 vehicle trip fee (atl.com, checked October 7, 2026). MARTA's Red line runs north to North Springs station, and after 8:30 pm riders to Sandy Springs and North Springs may need to change at Lindbergh Center (itsmarta.com).
