Hourly car service rates in NYC
Reserve a chauffeur and vehicle for the agreed time window. Compare exact three- and four-hour totals and the cost of an approved half-hour extension; group vehicles are priced separately by written quote.
| Vehicle class | Per hour | 3 hours | 4 hours | Approved 30-minute extension |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Executive Sedan | $120 | $360 | $480 | $60 |
| Executive SUV — Suburban | $144 | $432 | $576 | $72 |
| Luxury SUV — Escalade | $165 | $495 | $660 | $82.50 |
| Luxury Sedan — S-Class/7 Series | $200 | $600 | $800 | $100 |
- 3-hour minimum. The online form accepts 3–12 whole hours; contact Artisan for a longer or multi-day program. Review the complete price and itinerary before accepting.
- For an approved local itinerary, the confirmed hourly price covers the chauffeur, vehicle, ordinary local stops and waiting within the reserved window, together with required trip costs. Gratuity is optional.
- Extra time requires dispatch and customer approval and is billed at the same class rate in 30-minute increments, rounded upward in time. A materially changed or non-local itinerary needs review before it is accepted. Group vehicles have their own written quote and terms.

When to choose hourly car service
Connect a hotel departure, meetings at several addresses and a final drop-off in one hourly itinerary. Shopping trips and evenings out also suit a time block when you need the vehicle between stops.
For a direct journey, choose point-to-point. For sequenced meetings involving several travelers or vehicles, use a roadshow request so the schedule can be reviewed together.
Hours and stops
Plan your hours and stops
Start with the first pickup and expected finish, then add the addresses and time needed at each stop.
| Detail | How it works |
|---|---|
| Online duration | Choose 3–12 whole hours. Contact the concierge about a longer or multi-day program. |
| Driving and waiting | Travel between stops and time spent at meetings or shops use the reserved hours. |
| Itinerary | Include the pickup, every planned stop and the final drop-off. The accepted offer defines the service window and route conditions. |
| Additional time | Contact the concierge with the revised finish. Extensions depend on availability and the accepted additional-time terms. |
Meetings and appointments
Include the time you must arrive, the anticipated finish and a contact who can update the schedule.
Shopping or an evening out
List planned stops and your intended return address. Describe luggage, shopping bags or other items that affect vehicle fit.
Agree on where to meet after each stop. The vehicle may need to wait away from the entrance because of building access, traffic or stopping restrictions.
New York City regulates vehicle idling. Share a reachable passenger contact and any changed exit or meeting finish so the next pickup can be coordinated.
Choose the format
Retained hours, separate rides or a roadshow program
Choose retained time when you need the car between stops, not simply because your outing lasts several hours. A long meeting with no intermediate travel can suit a separate outward and return ride. Each arrangement still needs its own confirmed route and times.
| Your schedule | Consider | What to confirm |
|---|---|---|
| Nearby appointments or shopping stops | Hourly reservation | First pickup, local stop order, expected finish and luggage plan. |
| One appointment with a long gap | Separate transfers | An independent return pickup; the first car is not retained. |
| Investor meetings across several days | Roadshow itinerary review | A dated plan for each day, travelers and change-approval contact. |

Send the booking reference, current location, expected finish and next fixed appointment. Waiting is already inside your reserved hours; an extension needs availability, dispatch and customer approval. Approved sedan or SUV extensions use the same vehicle-class hourly rate in 30-minute increments, rounded upward in time. Group-vehicle extensions follow the accepted quote.
A move across the Hudson or out to Long Island can change the service area and finish. Include it before booking, rather than treating every destination as a normal local stop. If you need a short-notice arrangement, contact the concierge with the complete route; submission does not guarantee immediate availability.
Hourly terms
How is hourly car service priced?
Review the selected vehicle class, reserved hours and complete trip price in the booking form. For an approved local itinerary, the confirmed price covers the chauffeur, vehicle, normal local stops, waiting within the booked window and required trip costs. There is no second waiting charge for those same reserved minutes and no per-stop charge within the agreed arrangement. Gratuity is optional.
Starting at an airport? Include the flight, terminal or FBO and the rest of the day’s schedule. The arrival pickup and start of the hourly booking need to work together if the flight changes.
When your trip is confirmed
An eligible online request saves your card without a charge or hold. Artisan reviews availability, the vehicle and extras; a changed offer needs your acceptance before charging. Confirmation follows approval and successful payment. Accepted invoice or deposit offers follow their own payment terms.
Cancellation terms
For a standard confirmed ride, cancel at least 48 hours before pickup for a full refund. Inside 48 hours, any refund is discretionary and may be partial or zero. Different terms apply only if disclosed in a written offer and accepted before payment.

Hourly booking questions
For your exact route, vehicle and timing, review the trip details and terms before submitting.
Speak with the conciergeDoes hourly chauffeur service include a vehicle?
Yes—an hourly reservation includes the chauffeur and vehicle. Executive and Luxury Sedans accommodate up to 2 passengers and 3 bags; Executive and Luxury SUVs up to 6 and 6. Child seats require an SUV and advance confirmation. Include oversized items or mobility equipment for fit review; request a quote for a Sprinter or larger group.
Is there a minimum number of hours?
The online form starts at 3 hours and accepts whole-hour bookings up to 12 hours. Contact the concierge about a longer program or an itinerary needing a different arrangement. The selected vehicle, availability and accepted offer determine the final booking terms.
Can I add stops or change the route?
Normal local stops and route changes within the approved itinerary and booked window are included. Send a materially changed service area or later finish to the concierge for review. Approved sedan or SUV extensions need dispatch and customer approval and use the same class's hourly rate in 30-minute increments, rounded upward in time. Group-vehicle extensions follow their accepted quote.
Can an hourly booking include an airport pickup?
Include the flight, airport, terminal or FBO and the rest of the itinerary in your request. The airport meeting arrangements and the start of the hourly booking need to be reviewed together, especially if the flight timing changes.
How is waiting during a meeting handled?
Waiting during a meeting counts toward the hours you reserved. If the meeting takes you beyond the agreed service window, contact the concierge about an extension and the applicable additional-time terms. The arrival allowance for a separate airport transfer does not add free time to an hourly booking.
What if I have not received a confirmation or change response?
Contact the concierge with your existing request reference, the requested service window and stop order, and reachable contact. A submitted request or unanswered change is not a confirmed arrangement. Use the accepted, confirmed itinerary; do not treat silence as approval or assume an earlier pickup has been replaced.

What cancellation notice applies to hourly service?
For a standard confirmed booking, cancellation received at least 48 hours before pickup qualifies for a full refund. Weddings, multi-day roadshows, group programs and other large or event bookings use seven days before the first pickup. Inside the applicable window any refund is discretionary and may be partial or zero. Changes depend on availability and may need a revised accepted price. Different terms must be disclosed and accepted in writing before payment.
