Car service to your Long Island destination
Planning sources: Discover Long Island: regions and destinations
The North Shore, South Shore, North Fork and Hamptons are distinct Long Island regions. Use the town and final address to define the journey.
For a New York City–Hamptons transfer, the Hamptons page covers outward travel, property arrival and the return. For several island destinations, list the full stop sequence.
Journey types
Long Island airport transfers or hourly itineraries?
For a standard NYC airport trip, the accepted price includes required trip fees. Gratuity is optional; itinerary changes and excess waiting are extra. For hourly time, waiting is part of the reserved window and the itinerary must fit the agreed service area.
| Journey | Details to prepare | Service choice |
|---|---|---|
| Airport transfer | Flight, full Nassau or Suffolk address and passenger/luggage count. | Point-to-point airport journey. |
| New York City connection | Town, street addresses and arrival deadline. | One-way or separately timed return. |
| Several island stops | Stop order, appointment durations and expected finish. | Hourly itinerary review. |
Destination region
North Shore, South Shore, North Fork or the Hamptons?
Planning sources: Discover Long Island: regions and destinations
Long Island contains distinct destination regions. Discover Long Island separates the North Shore, South Shore, North Fork, Hamptons and other areas; an East End or beach description is not enough to define the car journey. Send the actual town and property or venue address.
| Destination | Clarify | Planning consequence |
|---|---|---|
| North or South Shore | Town, full address and road-accessible entrance | A shore label does not establish the pickup or drop-off. |
| North Fork | Each property, restaurant or appointment | Include stop order and time at each if retaining a vehicle. |
| Hamptons or Montauk | Actual town/property and arrival window | Review the outward journey and any later-day return separately. |
| Ferry connection | Road-side terminal and sailing/check-in requirements | The car transfer does not include a ferry ticket or vehicle crossing. |
Access and return
Property access and the return party deserve their own brief
Planning sources: Artisan Limo: current preview wait-time policy · Artisan Limo: current preview cancellation and change policy
For a residence, send the gate or entrance instructions and a contact who can help the traveler reach the meeting point. For an event or several properties, give each stop's deadline rather than treating the island as one pickup zone.
A return after a visit starts at the address where the party will actually finish. Use the correct date and local time, especially after an evening event. If guests join or bags change, book separate one-way journeys with the load for each leg. Tell the concierge about a delayed ferry or event release; a requested change needs confirmation.
Vehicles and returns
Long Island vehicle fit and return-trip details
Executive and Luxury Sedans accommodate up to 2 passengers and 3 bags; Executive and Luxury SUVs up to 6 passengers and 6 bags. Include oversized luggage or mobility equipment for fit review. Sprinters and larger vehicles are quote-only. Child-seat requests require an SUV. Request up to two seats in advance, with each child’s age, weight and height; availability must be confirmed.
Include sports equipment and every pickup address before the vehicle is confirmed. A round trip uses the same passenger and bag count for both legs. If the return party or luggage differs, enter separate one-way journeys so each has the correct requirements.
When your trip is confirmed
An eligible online request saves your card without a charge or hold. Artisan reviews availability, the vehicle and extras; a changed offer needs your acceptance before charging. Confirmation follows approval and successful payment. Accepted invoice or deposit offers follow their own payment terms.
Cancellation terms
For a standard confirmed ride, cancel at least 48 hours before pickup for a full refund. Inside 48 hours, any refund is discretionary and may be partial or zero. Different terms apply only if disclosed in a written offer and accepted before payment.

Long Island trip questions
For your exact route, vehicle and timing, review the trip details and terms before submitting.
Speak with the conciergeWhat details do you need for a Long Island pickup?
Enter the Nassau or Suffolk town, full pickup and destination addresses, local date, time, passengers and bags. Add gate or entrance instructions and any stops. Use separate one-way bookings when party sizes differ between journeys, and add ferry timing to the trip notes. For several vehicles, contact the concierge to review the full plan; only the confirmed arrangement reserves those journeys.
Is the Hamptons the same journey as a Long Island transfer?
The Hamptons is one Long Island destination region. Specify its exact town and address; other island destinations can require a different itinerary.
Planning sources: Discover Long Island: regions and destinations
Can I include several Long Island stops?
Request the stops together, including time at each location. Review the proposed service period, waiting and travel-area limits before booking.
Can a car journey connect with a ferry?
Include the road-accessible ferry terminal and the operator’s sailing and check-in time in the request. For a return, use the disembarkation terminal and a contact for delays. A car transfer to the terminal does not include a vehicle crossing or ferry ticket.
Is there one fixed price for all Long Island rides?
No. Your trip price depends on the vehicle, exact addresses and itinerary. Enter the actual pickup and destination, date, time, passengers and luggage to submit a sedan or SUV request for approval. Group vehicles receive a written quote in the booking form; one town’s example is not a price for every Long Island destination.
Can I request child seats for this journey?
Request up to two seats in an Executive or Luxury SUV in advance, with each child's age, weight, height and preferred restraint type. Availability must be confirmed. Include every child in the passenger count and strollers in the luggage requirements. The guardian remains responsible for checking final fit and securement; do not assume the same installation option is available in a group vehicle.

What if I have not received a confirmation or change response?
Contact the concierge with your existing request reference, the Long Island town and intended journey, and reachable contact. A submitted request or unanswered change is not a confirmed arrangement. Use the accepted, confirmed itinerary; do not treat silence as approval or assume an earlier pickup has been replaced.
