How it works

How your LAX to San Pedro ride works

A car can't change the cruise line's boarding deadline, so leave plenty of time between your landing and check-in, or consider flying in the day before. More on LAX pickups: LAX car service.

  1. Book with your flight and sailing

Add your flight number, cruise line, ship and check-in time.

  2. We track your flight

Your pickup follows your actual landing. Domestic arrivals in a sedan or SUV include 60 minutes of waiting and international arrivals 90 minutes, counted from wheels-down. For Sprinters, vans and coaches, waiting is set in the written quote.

  3. Your chauffeur meets you at the LAX curb

According to LAX, car services pick up at the outermost curb on the arrivals level outside baggage claim, not at the LAX-it lot.

  4. Straight to the terminal

Your chauffeur drops you and your bags at the terminal's passenger drop-off, entering from Harbor Boulevard at Swinford Street. Follow the port's signs and staff directions.

Parking

Private car or parking at the port?

If you drive yourself, the Port of Los Angeles lists cruise parking at the terminal at $2 per hour after the first free hour, up to $23 per day for standard vehicles and $40 per day for oversized vehicles. For a week-long cruise, that adds up, and someone still has to drive to and from the airport. A private car drops you at the terminal and picks you up when you're back.

Note that the terminal can't store bags, according to the Port. If you have time before boarding or after your cruise, keep your luggage with you or book your car to go straight to the airport or your hotel.

After your cruise

After your cruise: San Pedro to LAX

Book your return when you book your arrival, or any time before you sail. Give us your ship, the date, the time you expect to be off the ship with your bags, and your flight time. Your chauffeur picks you up at the terminal and drops you at your airline's departure level at LAX. On a point-to-point booking, your chauffeur waits 15 minutes at the pickup time.

Book any of them as a point-to-point ride and see your price before you book.
