Port of Miami Car Service pricing by vehicle class

Price the actual hotel or airport-to-terminal itinerary. These class starting fares are not flat port fares, a cruise waiting allowance or a guaranteed flight connection. Group vehicles receive a written offer.

Point-to-point starting fares
Vehicle classStarting from
Executive Sedan$135
Executive SUV — Suburban$155
Luxury SUV — Escalade$185
Luxury Sedan — S-Class/7 Series$235
  • Starting fares are the minimum for each vehicle class, not a fixed airport or destination fare. Your complete trip price depends on the exact addresses, itinerary and selected options.
  • Enter your exact addresses and review the complete required trip price before acceptance. Required trip costs are included; optional gratuity is separate. Accepted changes and excess waiting can cost extra.

Sedan and SUV requests are reviewed for Artisan approval. Sprinters, passenger vans, Mini Coaches and Motorcoaches receive a written quote in the same booking form.

The correct destination

Your PortMiami ship and terminal

PortMiami and Fort Lauderdale’s Port Everglades are different cruise ports. Start with the port printed on your sailing documents, then provide the line, ship, sailing date and terminal when assigned. A cruise-line name alone does not identify the correct curb or terminal for every sailing.

Recheck the terminal for the return as well as the outward journey. PortMiami’s official FAQ notes that a ship can leave from one terminal and return to another. Keep the traveler’s phone reachable and use the confirmed meeting instructions for the actual terminal rather than the location used on departure.

From hotel to ship

Miami or Miami Beach to your cruise check-in

Enter the full pickup address and the time the car should reach your hotel, home or office. Include hotel valet directions, separate passenger pickups and a luggage stop if needed. Work back from the cruise line’s assigned check-in time, allowing for the road journey and terminal entry.

Keep travel documents available rather than in checked bags. PortMiami advises checking the cruise line’s current documentation and embarkation requirements because these depend on the sailing and destination. A transport reservation does not replace the cruise line’s check-in or security instructions.

Arrival to embarkation

MIA or FLL to PortMiami

Provide the airline, flight number, local arrival date, all passengers and bags, plus the ship’s check-in deadline. Miami International Airport and Fort Lauderdale–Hollywood International Airport are different starting points. Select the actual airport and include any hotel stop before reaching the port.

A flight’s scheduled landing is not the time your party is ready to leave. Allow for taxiing, baggage and international arrival formalities when applicable, then the road journey and port entry. For a tight same-day connection, review the full itinerary before accepting; the transfer cannot guarantee that a delayed flight reaches the ship in time.

Ship to vehicle

PortMiami return pickup after disembarkation

Supply the returning ship, date, terminal when known and onward destination. Use the cruise line’s disembarkation plan to choose a requested pickup time, with allowance for leaving the ship, collecting bags and completing any clearance. A ship’s published arrival is not a promise that every passenger is immediately ready at the curb.

Contact the concierge when your party and bags are ready, following the confirmed terminal meeting instructions. If release takes longer than expected or the terminal changes, send an update promptly. The written scheduled-pickup terms apply at the port; an airport wheels-down waiting window does not automatically apply to a ship arrival.

A cruise-sized load

Choose the car for passengers and cruise bags

Executive and Luxury Sedans accommodate up to 2 passengers and 3 bags; Executive and Luxury SUVs accommodate up to 6 passengers and 6 bags. Count checked bags, carry-ons, strollers and bulky equipment. The actual luggage size matters, so do not select only by the number of seats. Sprinters, coaches and other group classes are quoted inside the main booking flow. Jet and Limo Sprinters carry approximately 4–6 bags maximum, depending on cabin and bag sizes; review the actual load before choosing one.

Request child seats in an SUV, up to two seats and subject to availability, with each child’s age, weight, height and configuration. If bringing your own restraint, select that option and allow installation time. Tell us about mobility equipment and boarding needs before reserving so the actual vehicle and port meeting can be reviewed.

After your sailing

A Miami stop before your flight

For a later flight, specify the hotel, appointment or other stop you need before the airport. A point-to-point transfer does not include retaining the car or luggage for the day. Request hourly service if your itinerary needs the vehicle through several stops and agree the full duration and finish.

PortMiami’s FAQ says there are no storage lockers at the port. Check luggage arrangements with the cruise line, hotel or relevant facility rather than assuming the terminal can hold your bags. Keep valuables, medication and travel documents with your party, and review luggage fit for both the outward and return trips.

One accepted journey

PortMiami fare, reservation and cancellation

The agreed price includes required normal trip fees for the accepted itinerary and vehicle; gratuity is optional. An added stop, changed terminal or timing, and excess waiting can affect the total. Review both legs if booking a return, including the actual arrival airport and departure flight.

An eligible card-saving request does not charge the card or confirm the ride. Confirmation follows approval of the exact accepted request and successful payment. A revised offer needs acceptance; direct-checkout, invoice and deposit offers follow their stated payment terms.

No cancellation fee applies before confirmation. Standard confirmed transfers qualify for a full refund with at least 48 hours’ notice before pickup; inside that window any refund is discretionary. Group and event programs require seven days before the first pickup unless different terms were disclosed and accepted in writing before payment.

Speak with the concierge
Are PortMiami and Port Everglades the same destination?

No. PortMiami is in Miami; Port Everglades is Fort Lauderdale’s cruise port. Use the port on your sailing documents and give the ship, line, date and terminal when assigned.

What details are needed for a PortMiami transfer?

Give the complete pickup address, port, ship, cruise line, sailing date, terminal when known and assigned check-in time. Include passengers, all luggage and additional stops. For an airport arrival, also supply current flight details.

Will the ship return to the same terminal?

Not necessarily. PortMiami’s official FAQ describes sailings that leave and return at different terminals. Recheck the returning terminal and follow the confirmed meeting instructions instead of assuming the departure curb is still correct.

Can I book MIA or FLL directly to the ship?

Provide the actual airport, flight and cruise check-in details. Allow for arrival formalities, baggage, the transfer and terminal entry. Scheduled landing is not passenger-ready time, and the transfer cannot guarantee a tight connection after a flight delay.

When should my return car be scheduled?

Use the cruise line’s disembarkation plan and allow for baggage and any clearance. The ship’s arrival time is not the time every traveler can reach the car. Keep your phone reachable and update the concierge as your party becomes ready.

Does the airport waiting allowance cover my cruise return?

No. Standard sedan and SUV port transfers include 15 minutes from the scheduled pickup time. Airport waiting starts at a flight’s actual wheels-down and does not apply to cruise returns. Group vehicles follow their accepted written offer’s waiting and excess-wait terms.

Can I leave luggage at PortMiami before a later flight?

The port’s official FAQ says storage lockers are not available. Check arrangements with your cruise line, hotel or another suitable facility. If you want the vehicle for several stops, request hourly service and agree the duration; a transfer does not include all-day vehicle or luggage retention.

Can a larger family travel together with child seats?

Choose for the total passengers and actual bags. Child-seat requests require an SUV, with up to two seats subject to availability. Larger group vehicles are quoted through the main booking flow, and the seating, luggage and restraint arrangement must be confirmed.

Is gratuity required and can I cancel?

Gratuity is optional, with required normal trip fees included in the accepted itinerary price. Standard confirmed transfers have a 48-hour full-refund notice window; group programs use seven days. Inside the applicable window any refund is discretionary, with written accepted exceptions where applicable.
